Nový domov

Už jsem to s reklamou tady na wordpressu nevydržel a přestěhoval se sem

Snad to nikomu moc nevadí. Jen ti, co odebírají přes email se budou muset znovu přihlásit.

Program ke kreslení rychlých mind map. Mám dojem, že mi to kdysi doporučoval Bifi na rpgf.

Ke stažení zde

Budete si muset zapnout 720p a fullscreen, aby jste to přečetli.

Zak’s GM Questionnaire

asked here
I’m just trying to exercise my english :)

1. If you had to pick a single invention in a game you were most proud of what would it be?
On a first level you can either roll for hit points or take maximum, but if you do so, everybody around the table have to adress you only as a „pussy“ instead of your real name for the entire evening. (ok, maybe this isn’t the one, but i can’t think of anything else now)

2. When was the last time you GMed?
last saturday

3. When was the last time you played?
two months ago

4. Give us a one-sentence pitch for an adventure you haven’t run but would like to.
Grand treasure hunt with encrypted map divided into 12 pieces, that have been copied many times and are now scattered around the globe. I already started featuring pieces of the map in my random tables.

5. What do you do while you wait for players to do things?
I enjoy their involvement, nudge them towards interesting ideas and plan ahead. But mostly I just laugh :)

6. What, if anything, do you eat while you play?
Tea biscuits with coke or tiramisu and energy drink.

7. Do you find GMing physically exhausting?
Yes, but we have sessions between eight and sixteen hours long.

8. What was the last interesting (to you, anyway) thing you remember a PC you were running doing?
Impaling an alien on a flag and dragging him outside a building surrounded by police and army, proving that they are among us!

9. Do your players take your serious setting and make it unserious? Vice versa? Neither?
No, we bounce between action, comedy and disturbing gore/sex scenes without any troubles that would disrupt immersion or anything.

10. What do you do with goblins?
We have two kind of goblins; civilised ones and underground savages. Civilised are inventers, engineers, traders and, in some not so goblin friendly cities, slaves. Savages are your usual dnd cannon fodder. Ugly little mutants always lurking behind a forest line waiting to snatch your kids and eat them. It became nearly a tradition that every imperial city pays one gold piece per severed savage goblin head.

11. What was the last non-RPG thing you saw that you converted into game material (background, setting, trap, etc.)?
I stole half a setting rules from Dresden Files novels into our home setting (magic, faerie, threshold, potions…)

12. What’s the funniest table moment you can remember right now?
Roleplaying a disguised crossroads demon trying to get a contract (skill for your soul ten years from now) from a player character who wanted to be better in bed.

13. What was the last game book you looked at–aside from things you referenced in a game–why were you looking at it?
D20 modern – Critical locations. I’ll probably never use it, but I always wanted it and I got a chance to get it really cheap.

14. Who’s your idea of the perfect RPG illustrator?
Guild wars 2 concept art team.

15. Does your game ever make your players genuinely afraid?
No, not really. Tense or disgusted but never afraid.

16. What was the best time you ever had running an adventure you didn’t write? (If ever)
I never ran a published adventure.

17. What would be the ideal physical set up to run a game in?
Big room, big table, 7 comfortable chairs, minibar, freezer, one PC and a lots of minis.

18. If you had to think of the two most disparate games or game products that you like what would they be?
Swords&Wizardry and Dream Shards.

19. If you had to think of the most disparate influences overall on your game, what would they be?
OSR blogs and my previous WoW addiction.

20. As a GM, what kind of player do you want at your table?

21. What’s a real life experience you’ve translated into game terms?
Probably something from our fencing.

22. Is there an RPG product that you wish existed but doesn’t?
Big collection of lairs and dungeons . And not a bland one like 4e delves.

23. Is there anyone you know who you talk about RPGs with who doesn’t play? How do those conversations go?
I have one friend that plays computer games and board games but never tabletop rpgs for the lack of time. He seems interested and I always sort out my thoughts talking to him because he is in no danger of spoilers.
